Client’s challenge
The new plant – measuring more than 200,000 sq ft – will be Finnebrogue’s fourth new factory in five years and brings the firm’s overall investment during that period to £80 million.
It comes amid soaring demand particularly for its vegan and vegetarian products, which have grown ten-fold in just three years.
Key to maintaining this success is the installation of high quality wash down and drainage facilities to meet with the exacting modern day food hygiene standards.
Blucher’s solution
To meet the ever expanding needs of a fast growing and high speed food production facility Blucher offered a range of stainless steel drainage channels and floor gullies. Key to this contract was the ability to work at speed offering a quick turnaround of design drawings and a production time of 10 days from drawing approval.
Project background
Having supplied the drainage facilities for the three previous Finnebrogue factories Blucher were delighted to once again to be invited to supply the drainage for this latest facility. From experience Blucher understood the fast moving construction programme and constant design and layout amendments that come as standard when working to such tight construction programmes. By offering a fast response from their experienced design team and prompt delivery on a wide range of bespoke products they were able to ensure this contract met with the customers exacting standards.
