This seminar gives an overview of the clay brick manufacturing process, in accordance with the European performance guidelines. It looks into areas of consideration when specifying brick such as; water absorption, strength, mortar strength, mortar colour, designed for movement and good site practice.

– The clay brick manufacturing process and the characteristics and physical performance of brick
– Choosing the correct brick per specification
– How choosing the correct mortar strength and joint profile can aid to build longevity
– How good site practice can greatly reduce issues requiring remedial correction
